Wyoming State Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

The Wyoming Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology licenses Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.  No person may practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist in the State of Wyoming without first obtaining a license from the Board. 

It is the responsibility of the applicant to review the Rules and Regulations to determine the appropriate application method.  Unless granted permission in writing, the Board office will not communicate with any individual except for the applicant regarding the status of any application.

The Wyoming Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is staffed through the Professional Licensing Boards Office, a division of A&I.

 Normal processing time for a background check is 4 weeks in addition to the normal review time for all applications.

Provisional Licensure 

If applicant has not completed a clinical fellowship year

Licensure by Completing Provisional

If applicant completed their CFY and meets requirements for initial licensure

Initial Licensure 

If applicant is not licensed to practice in another jurisdiction

Licensure by Endorsement 

If applicant is actively licensed to practice in another jurisdiction

Relicensure 

If Wyoming license has lapsed/expired

                 Reinstatement                   

If Wyoming license has been revoked, surrendered, suspended, conditioned, or restricted       

SLPA Certification by Education

If applying for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certification  and you already have completed your degree.    

Aide or Audiometric Technician Registration
